DAY 4-SAWAHLUNTO PADANG
We get up early and depart around 6:00 am from Padang in the direction of Sawahlunto
Sawahlunto is an old mining town founded by the Dutch and is full of colonial buildings from that era as well as a museum of coal mining and railway museum
Sawahlunto is wedged between mountains and is a small, picturesque town full of objects of colonial-era mining
From Padang go uphill through Indaroeng, pass on a winding road, bordered by thick tropical rainforest through Bung Hatta park and reaching Solok
Solok stop in for a brief breakfast, coffee or tea and a paste
We will then head for Sawahlunto down a road down to the village and visit the railway museum and the museum of mines and some large machinery still present in the people of the colonies for lunch after a delicious local food
We spend the afternoon walking around this quaint village and spend the night in a hotel called Ombilin which is an old colonial era building or at another nearby hotel, depending on room availability, we will be in double or triple

DAY 5 SAWAHLUNTO-PARIANGAN-Batusangkar-Bukittinggi
We get up early and have breakfast from about 8:00 am in the direction of Pariangan via Talawi
In the village in Tanah Datar Pariangan even Minangkabau tradition kept alive (the Minangkabau are a matriarchal and matrilineal ethnic group, one of the last matriarchal planet) in this small village at the foot of Merapi volcano (active volcano), is said were the first settlements Minangkabau which then spread throughout West Sumatra
In this village and see ancient homes typical of that culture
This village will delight lovers of photography, it is reached by a small winding road, bordered by a backdrop of rice terraces staggered; landscapes drawn from fairy tales
From here you also get to the top of the volcano Merapi in about 8 hours of ascension where several craters

DAY 6 Bukittinggi-SUNGAILANDIA-Maninjau
We got up early and had breakfast and we left about 8:00 Sungailandia, a village that seems taken from fables of goblins and about 2 hours of Bukittinggi
Spend the morning here and after lunch drive to Lake Maninjau, through a road that winds through 44 curves to the lake that was an old crater of an extinct volcano, spend some time exploring the area for the evening return to Bukittinggi overnight stay

DAY 7 BUKINTTINGGI-PALUPUH-Bonjol-Rimbo PANTI
After breakfast depart for Palupuh where if any rafflessia blooming in the jungle we see it, we can also see the preparation of Kopi Luwak (most expensive coffee in the world, $ 99 a cup in USA) and we can try and buy if we take any This brown bag ($ 20 a bag of 100 gr)
Then we will go back to passing Bonjol Rimbo Pantyhose (here we cross the line of Ecuador) and if open to the public will see the Imam Bonjol museum, then lunch en route and continue to Rimbo Panti, a nature reserve where there are hot springs from the volcano Talamau in Pasaman Barat and where we can swim if you wish, there are some trekking in the jungle that we do, in this area inhabits the Sumatran tiger, have dinner in the area and spend the night in Lubuk Sikaping

DAY 8 Lubuk SIKAPING-Simpang Empat-pariahman-PADANG
After breakfast we left Simpang Empat in Pasaman Barat through a narrow road lined with jungle; lunch in Pasaman Barat and continue to pariahman visiting some beaches full of coconut trees and islands where we will dine well, depending on the weather finally spend the night in pariahman or return to Padang for the night with a local family

DAY 9 PADANG
Free time to visit the city of Padang (West Sumatra capital), we can visit the nearby beaches, Pantai Air Manis or pantai Carolina, also Padang’s Chinatown with some colonial buildings, the river Batang Arau; sunset in Teluk Bayur etc
We spent night at local family

DAY 10 PADANG-JAK ARTA
Back to Jakarta
We visite Chinatown in Jakarta and Kota (Old Batavia) and spent night in a homestay in Jl Jaksa
